AIDC – The Foundation of Visibility
Hosted by GS1 US

Click here to download the workshop agenda
All of the AIDC technologies, from simple 1D barcodes to RFID and beyond, are designed to help us "see" physical objects as part of one or more business processes. It is the use of standards for identification, data capture and data sharing that turn those AIDC technologies into powerful tools for reshaping how the US does business both here and around the globe. From improving on-shelf availability of the goods we buy every day, to slowing the flow of counterfeit drugs, to improving food safety, better visibility of the flow of physical goods over time is the key. This half-day workshop from GS1 US focuses on the foundation of visibility and the value of visibility in the supply chain of today and tomorrow.
